My best mate, Sepp Blatter and me #euro2012 #uefacom #fifacom #photosthatopensdoors

I’m alway publishing the photo of Sepp and me before a new leg of a expedition. Always…

That photo can open closed doors and I pretend we’re best friends.

I can not say that we have hung together so much……

To be exact; Just for 20 minutes.

But I can say that Sepp and FIFA helped The Shirt and communications for humanitarian causes. I can say that he invited me in to the office when cycling in Swiss. I can say that he signed his shirt and donated to The Shirt. I can say that refugees in all the camps I visited in Africa was proud to see the photo. I can say that I guess he was behind the stringst to FIFA TV about when they made The Shirt content about refugees who was sent out to 700 million.

700 million. That is strong communication.

Hope to see you on Danube. Hope you’ll donate a shirt. Sepp did!

Need a visit on Danube #expedition #paddling #2012

Found my weakest side on the cycle ride to South Africa. It was not the thigh, abdomen, shoulders or legs. It was not courage, demand, motivation or will. ‘

It was, loneliness …

So – If you are near the River Danube or the Black Sea or river Dneiper in March – June, then I can guarantee that I will come floating past the following locations (and you are shouting and waving with a cold drink!!!! 😉

The Danube flows through the following countries and cities (ordered from the source to mouth):

Germany

Möhringen an der Donau in Baden-Württemberg

#part2; The love of football and the missing card #paulmadeley #leeds

New photos / card 20.1 2012

It’s
a cind of internal blogg and a message with a photo that I hope will find its way and love of football up to the north.

Because (once upon a time…..;-) ) I cycled in to Vestraalen.

It’s way up north, maybe the most beautiful place on the planet, on the west coast of Norway, where the men still are men, the cod you fish is always over 12 kilos, and the passion for football is total. but it’s one ting missing there and in Norway;
Paul Madeley from Leeds..

I met a man there, a pal of a pal, and he has the a complete 100% collection of my own childhood love. I’m of course talking about “football collecting cards” but I’m not accurate, because it’s not a 100%collection. It’s a 99,999999% collection.

He, Vestraalen and Norway has always been missing one card (1) and that’s: Paul Madeley, Leeds.

So I’v been working since that fine cycling day in 2011. Mates have been working, mates of mates have been working – and it’s all been about the love of football, childhood days and;
Paul Madeley, Leeds, – the missing card….

Well, we got breaking news!

We have found one collector in Singapore that have sent over a photo of his Paul. I have taken the scanned photos I got on mail and you’ll see them on my collage ( The other photos are from your collection in Vestraalen )

Dear Bø, Pedersen, the cod, the whales,Vestrålen, and dear nutcase football collector head: Is this the right Madeley? Is this the right card and the right year?

If the answer is no!  (please tell us )

If the answer is yes! Let’s find the money and go to Singapore!! (or do it the Viking way, #sail #steal #sailhome ) 😉

If you are a collector that stumbled in on this blog who also have a Madeley card.. – please shout!

Crossing fingers!!!!!!

Testing out video edeting tools. What do YOU have?

I’ve got 987678 gigabyte of video from the Norway –
South Africa and the Norway North to South cycling, but I’m not good
at video editing, so I’m looking for that super tool that can help
me….

Best I’ve found so far is www.animoto,.com and
I have a short test under that shows the result after I just added
all the photo and pushed the button; “make video”.. and it
did in a cool way.

You know another one?

The 2012 expedition has found it’s map and dream

I’v been thinking and making dreams and visions for the next expedition with The Shirt.

I’m on “ready” and soon “go”.  Making me ready now and starting in ca 58 days.

Let me tell you about the paddling start….. I’m not cycling this one. I’m on water.. 😉

The Danube (English pronunciation: /ˈdænjuːb/ dan-yoob) is a river in Central Europe and is Europe’s second longest river after the Volga. It is classified as an international waterway.
The river originates in the Black Forest mountain range in Germany as the much smaller Brigach and Breg rivers which join at the German town of Donaueschingen. After that it is known as the Danube and flows southeastward for a distance of some 2,872 km (1,785 mi), passing through four Central and Eastern European capitals, before emptying into the Black Sea via the Danube Delta in Romania and Ukraine.

Then I have to find my way (that has to be easy!) on the Black Sea, and paddling up to the river Dnieper and on that river I’ll find Kiev.

Same start as on the Norway to south Africa trip. No sponsors but a big dream and lot of power.

Hope the power stays dry on the river…. 😉

Hope you’ll join the trip!
