Reinsvatnet – Nevelfjell

In 1921, the State brought an action against the owners, claiming that Reinsvatnet was not subject to private property rights, and then that the royal deed transferred only the fishing right and not the property right. In 1922, the owners became aware of the property rights to Reinsvatnet and the state incurred legal costs.

In 1978, public access to pole fishing was opened to the solution of the ordinary fishing license for Fåberg Østfjell.

Reinsvatnet is still privately owned, the condominium consists of 4 owners. For many years, Eidsiva Energi owned a fourth party in the condominium, but sold its share in 2005 to a private individual.
