I could not stay on the Serbian side after stamping my passport. Was told to go direct to Romania side. Thats why I did not check in on your pals place. But,,, Thanks for helping me with the next miles on Donau ! Tell your friend in Hamburg Germany, that I slept there when cycling to South Africa in 2010 ( look www.theshirt2010.net ) Stayed in a punk rocker hostell called “Kogge” and got great support of St. Pauli FC who donated a signed shirt by my friend and ex player Tore Pedersen. I have a old map from former Jugoslavia and my information is that l check my passport for first Boarder controll in Veliko Gradiste. If I get happy wind on my nice ass… I will reach that today. Dunavski Cvet. Is that right ? And where is the next controll ? I like to be friends with boarder controll… 😉

So, the pirates of Belgrade sent me to Smederevo. The boss, Mr Darko was first nice. Then cool. Then he gave it all. The map, the facts, and phoned his Serb mates in Dunavsi. 50 km down the river. From the pirates of Belgrade to a friend, and I like mates of a mate. Feel safer.. And I also got batterys to my gps. A helping hand is what you will look for on your next trip. You know, when your tired, sweaty, hungry, very lost !! -and the first you meet dont speak your language. If you are Norwegian no one speaks your language, but I have English like very good, and German like kleine bitte… Danke schon, Brattwurst unt Franz Becenbauef tzer gut. He works in a factory in town, like to cycle, are born on the boarder to Bulgaria and he finds it natural to help people who looks like a tramp with to loang beard.. Thanks pal. You got my site. Hi, I made the 50 km and Im in your friends place called “Hamburg”. Nice!!. The president have been over and said hello. He looks like a rock star and have a meeting just now with two men that have to play in TV Sopranos one day.. You know that one ? Been very friendly and everything is Serbia at its best. Going to Ram tomorrow and please call Hamburg if i should check in to Romania there. People around me do not know and I would like nice first meeting with Romania.. Left side going south on Donau. Beside the bridge. Place is called “The Pirat of Donau”. The chef is the best in Europe, and knows history and culture like a professor. The crew is super, and I dont know how to say it….. But, you are very safe. The kayak is very safe. Even the moscitos dos not sting here… Maybe beacause the owner looks like a crossing between Rambo, Hulk Hogan, and a Che Guevara.
